How it works
- After a customer purchases your enrolled item on Walmart.com, they‘ll be asked to share feedback for a small incentive.*
- Each eligible item enrolled in the Post-Purchase Reviews program is charged a $5 service fee per review.
- The Cost Per Review column of the dashboard shows your total cost per review, which is the sum of the incentive amount and the service fee.
- You‘re only charged for the target number of reviews per participating item.
*Incentives are only disclosed after a customer has made a purchase. All reviews collected from the program will be badged as Incentivized Review. Walmart will not entertain any request to modify or remove any item reviews unless it is in violation of the Walmart UGC/Ratings and Review Policies. Pricing and eligibility requirements can change at any time.

Walmart determines eligibility based on a proprietary algorithm that considers various factors, including published status, review count, and projected demand. If multiple items in your catalog are eligible, we prioritize them in descending order of confidence based on the algorithm.
It’s possible that your published catalog doesn’t have any items that meet our criteria for the program. The list of eligible items is refreshed by Wednesday of each week.
We cannot override the criteria to make items eligible. Item eligibility is determined by a proprietary algorithm.
Yes. All customers invited to leave reviews through Post-Purchase Reviews are Verified Purchasers, meaning Walmart has verified they have purchased the participating item. Also, incentives are only disclosed to customers after they make a purchase.
Walmart will not modify or remove a review unless it meets the guidelines for removal. See our Request to remove a review article for more information.
